Sunday Morning Worship

Sunday morning is a time & space to experience "something" different, "something" that touches our spirits, & sends us back into the world with more peace, love & understanding.  This happens as we hear God's voice in the Word (the Bible), experience God's love at the table (Holy Communion), & respond to God's love (in worship & community). It's both simple & deep! 

And we're easy to find on Scenic Highway 61, about 15 minutes up the shore from Two Harbors, just past the blue Castle Danger road sign.  Then once you get here, our building is easily accessible from the upper parking lot, over to the sidewalk, and then, right into the sanctuary.  There is also an elevator to the Fellowship Hall for after-service coffee and conversation.

And know this: more than likely, you won't be the only "visitor" at OSL!  Service is from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Community & Connection

Whether it's coffee & treats following worship, game days, quilting, our fish-cake supper, or when we're grieving a loss, OSL is a community.  We support each other, pray for each other, grieve with each other, and laugh together!

This is significant because since the Covid-19 pandemic, the world has realized that we are in a "loneliness" epidemic!  Many of us report that we don't have even one close friend (you know, someone we could call at midnight!).  But as old-school as it sounds, making friends at church is a real thing. At OSL you will find the unconditional love God has for you, & the sense of belonging God intends for you.

Are We Open All Year Round?

Yes, we are!

Are you up north for summer camping? Maybe for fall break?  Or  Christmas holiday?  Maybe a ski trip?  Locals are a part of this church, but "drop-in's" belong here, too!

And even though you're on vacation, you might find that making time & space for your spiritual side deepens your connection to the people around you, to the natural world, and to the Creator of all things--including you!  Think of it this way: Worship + Vacation = the Best Combination ever (even better than tomato soup + grilled cheese)!  After all, God created us to live our lives as both physical and spiritual beings!  Amazing, isn't it?!
